This year, a total of 364 companies offered 1650 job positions to IIT Bombay students. Out of 1979 students who actively participated in the placement process, 1475 have accepted job offers, reflecting robust demand for the institute’s graduates.

Exceptional Achievements: 22 IIT Bombay Graduates Secure Jobs with Rs 1 Crore+ Packages**

One of the standout achievements this year is that 22 IIT Bombay students have secured job offers with annual compensation packages exceeding Rs 1 crore. These offers, from some of the most prestigious multinational corporations and leading firms, underscore the exceptional talent and expertise of IIT Bombay graduates. Such high-value packages highlight the institute’s role in preparing students for top-tier positions in the global job market.

Rise in International Offers Despite Economic Challenges**

The placement season saw a noteworthy increase in international job offers. This year, 78 international offers were made by companies from countries such as Japan, Taiwan, Europe, UAE, Singapore, USA, Netherlands, and Hong Kong, up from 65 the previous year. Despite global economic uncertainties and geopolitical issues like the war in Ukraine, IIT Bombay’s reputation continues to attract a diverse range of global recruiters.

Students Opt for Diverse Career Paths Beyond Corporate Jobs**

In addition to securing job offers, a significant number of students chose to explore alternative career paths. Out of 435 students who deregistered from the placement drive, many are pursuing higher education options such as MS, MTech, PhD, and MBA programs. Others are venturing into entrepreneurship or preparing for civil services, reflecting a broader range of career aspirations among IIT Bombay’s student body.
